Description
Sucral Ano Cream is a combination of three medicines: Lidocaine/Lignocaine, Metronidazole and Sucralfate. Lidocaine/Lignocaine is a local anesthetic. It works by blocking pain signals from the nerves to brain which decreases pain sensation. Metronidazole is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging the DNA. Sucralfate is an anti-ulcerant which forms a coating over the affected area of skin. This creates a physical barrier that protects the skin from further other injury, allowing it to heal.
